Kinetica Art Fair 2012

Ambika P3, London, February 2012

Kinetica Art Fair was produced by Kinetica Museum. As the first of it’s kind in the UK, it brought together galleries, art collectives and curatorial groups from around the world who focus on kinetic, electronic robotic, sound, light, time-based and multi-disciplinary new media art, science and technology.

Laura Jean Healey’s, The Siren - a life size holographic 3D projection filmed entirely underwater at high-speed using the Phantom 2k Flex camera - was exhibited as part of the Musion Holographic showcase.

The piece was awarded the MAMA’s 2012 for it’s “most innovative design/concept working with the Musion Eyeliner System” and was nominated for the MAMA’s | Kinetica Performance Award.
