Passion for freedom art festival

Passion For Freedom is a non-governmental and voluntary organisation, gathering professionals working in the arts and media. In 2013 Passion For Freedom presented the work of 34 artists from 13 countries - Brazil, Canada, USA, UK, Poland, Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, France, Germany, China, Holland and Afghanistan - contributing film, photography, painting, sculpture, books and other forms of artistic expression, often highly controversial topics of social importance.

The committee selected 21 films of which The Siren, was awarded The Gold Film Award for it’s “artistic values and powerful visual message embodying the freedom of women”.

The film was exhibited as part of the opening ceremony and during the festival which took place at the Embassy Tea gallery, London.
