SPILL THINK TANK LIVE: THE SIREN + THE (UN)HOLY TRINITY

Laura Jean Healey opened the 2024 season of SPILL Think Tank Live with a series of her visually powerful artist moving image works, The (Un)Holy Trinity and The Siren.
Laura’s film installations examine the role and representation of women in art and cinema. She produced ‘The Siren’, which was the very first holographic installation to be filmed entirely underwater in slow motion and was awarded the Passion for Freedom Gold Film Award for its ‘artistic value and powerful visual message embodying the freedom of women’.
Following the screening, Laura led a conversation with SPILL Director Robin Deacon about the making and meaning of her work.
